June 9 2013, Richard and I got married. He is a crooner, and I am an actress.
By the time our wedding reception was over, the feedback on our social media accounts was surprising. My first Instagram post as a married woman was a picture of the hairpins I wore that day. It got over 5,000 likes. That was huge for me! I never got 5,000 likes on ANY photo I posted before my wedding day.
Since then, likes have been highest when my posts are concerning my husband and our relationship. Months into the marriage, people STILL tell me how we inspire them.
We write for everyone who wants to know more about us as a couple. Like many, we’ve had our share of clueless stumbles, from which we’ve learned priceless lessons.
We also write because we appreciate you taking time to connect with us. We hope at the very least, our blog entertains you. Oh, and this blog is also dedicated to those who liked my Instagram hairpins post, haha! Enjoy!Maricar
I hope our blogs on relationship help you in any small way. They are real mistakes we have made and the changes our married mentors helped us make as we failing forward.
It’s our little way of giving what we have freely received. Have you ever said, “How I wish I KNEW THEN the things I know now?” Some of you will make better changes EARLIER IN LIFE than us. May your life-change be the greatest tool to serve many, many others.
